- In France, the Republic Strikes Back on the 12th night
of riots with a 12-day curfew which is a déjà
vu of the 1961 curfew when Parisian gendarmes killed 200
peaceful Algerian demonstrators seeking the same civil rights
as their descendants today;
- Italian television is tonight confirming our earlier
reports of US chemical warfare in Iraq, with testimony and
images of white phosphorous clouds stripping bare the bones
of Fallujah residents;
- Yet another lawyer for Saddam Hussein's co-defendants
has been assassinated prior to the US supervised kangaroo
court;
- Peru's former President Alberto Fujimori is under arrest
in Chile, while unindicted US president George Bush flees
the Latin American jurisdiction after international protest
and a disastrous trade tour; and
- Elections are underway in California and in NYC, where
millionaire mayor Michael Bloomberg is spending $120 for
each and every vote.
