Email Privacy Policy
The
Pacifica Foundation values its supporters and respects their privacy.
We collect donor information in an effort to communicate with our listeners,
members and friends on an individual basis. We recognize that our five
sister stations, our Pacifica Radio Archives, and our own Pacifica Foundation
fundraising appeals are the primary sources for creating a support base
with the public. We respect the privilege of this process, and abide by
the highest standards adhered to by the nonprofit community to protect
your information.
Privacy Policy
We collect information (your name and/or address and/or phone number, credit card information, or other information) that you provide when you contact us or make a gift to Pacifica. Once you have been entered into our database, we will use the utmost care in protecting the privacy and security of your information.
We do not sell your information to any merchants or other third parties conducting marketing of any products or businesses.
We may contract with third parties to assist us in maintaining and managing our donor database after a campaign mailing or special event. We do NOT authorize any of those third parties to make any other use of donor information.
We do purchase mailing lists and/or email lists of like-minded organizations for the purpose of widening our circle of supporters.
If, at any time, you would like us to update your personal information, to opt out from receiving Pacifica Foundation emails, or to be removed from our email list, please contact us by email at: pilar@pacifica.org. Be sure to include your full name, address, email address, and fully state your change of information. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for processing your request. We’re happy to accommodate you.
